Monty, Inc. Distinctive Notecards
Welcome to Monty, Inc.
The online site for the art and artistry of Bruce Montgomery

Here's why Bruce Montgomery, a.k.a. "Monty," is widely known as Philadelphia's Renaissance Man:

He was Director of the world-renowned University of Pennsylvania Glee Club for 44 years.

His paintings and sculptures adorn galleries and many private collections.

His acting, singing, music, lyrics, costume and set designs have delighted legions of audiences for most of his life.

His 1964 off-Broadway hit as composer/lyricist for The Amorous Flea has become a classic in repertory theater.

His direction of, and performances in, the Gilbert & Sullivan operettas is legendary.

Since his "retirement" in 2000, Monty's vibrant watercolors have become prolific. Friends suggested he start a note card business and that's what we've done with this site. But that's not all. Monty continues to direct first-rate G & S productions locally, and last summer in England. His first book Brothers, Sing On! was published in September, 2005, and he's currently working on the score for his first original Broadway musical.

We hope you'll enjoy our site and visit us often to see what other things we have in store for you
